Foreman Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of waterproofing systems installation on commercial buildings, including roofs, walls, and foundations.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment across all projects.
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with other construction professionals to ensure efficient project completion.
- Train and mentor team members, enhancing their skills and promoting internal growth within the company.
- Oversee the application of waterproof membranes, coatings, and sealants to prevent water infiltration.
Basic Requirements for the Position:
- Proven experience as a Foreman in a construction or roofing environment.
- Reliable transportation to the office every morning (on time).
- Ability to lift heavy loads up to 50 lbs. and navigate construction jobsite terrain.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team.
Additional Requirements for Experienced Candidates:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within commercial single-ply, Modified Bitumen, or FARR systems roofing.
- Extensive knowledge of roofing installation, safety regulations, and crew management.
- Certifications such as OSHA 10, OSHA 30, CERTA, or equipment certifications (All Terrain Forklift, Man Lifts) are highly regarded.
