Senior Superintendent (Healthcare)

ROLE: Senior Superintendent (Healthcare)
SALARY: $160k - $220k
LOCATION: Milpitas. CA

The Senior Superintendent will play a crucial role and collaborate closely with the Project Manager to ensure the overall success of each project. The Senior Superintendent will take charge of leading the project team and subcontractors, driving them toward excellence. Additionally, you will play a vital role in training employees and upholding company policies and procedures, ensuring that every aspect of the project aligns with the company’s standards of quality and performance.



What You’ll Do:
  • Lead the efficient operational execution of projects, driving success as a true leader.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using company processes, including monthly, weekly look-ahead, and lean principles.
  • Keep a pulse on project status in the field and with staff to ensure a deep understanding of on-the-ground operations.
  • Oversee project resources, ensuring quality, safety, adherence to schedule, constructability, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and stakeholders to address design issues and ensure seamless coordination.
  • Manage coordination across all scopes of work with trades and Self-Perform Work.
  • Identify daily milestones and strategize plans for task completion.
  • Allocate resources effectively to support field staff.
  • Lead meetings with internal teams, clients, stakeholders, designers, and trades, fostering alignment and collaboration.
  • Support business development and project pursuits with strategic insight.
  • Contribute to schedule development, logistics planning, and pursuit approaches.
  • Act as a catalyst for coaching and mentoring direct reports and craft workers.



What You’ll Do:
  • 10+ years of construction experience in Healthcare, OSHPD (HCAI), or related sectors within the Bay Area.
  • Extensive experience with large, ground-up projects from preconstruction through to completion.
  • Proven leadership in internal and project teams, including trade partners and OAC, to align objectives and priorities.
  • Proficiency in scheduling with P6, including development, maintenance, and monthly updates.
  • Expertise in monitoring and directing job site safety procedures.
  • Strong background in managing self-performed work.
  • Skilled in mentoring, developing, and training team members.
  • Relevant market and safety certifications.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude, fostering unity and collaboration across the board.
