Loading Supervisor
Shipper/Receiver
Location: Brampton, ON
$60k-70k
Hours are Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 pm

A well established building materials manufacturer has an immediate need for a Loading Shift Supervisor for their Brampton location.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 years or more supervisory experience in a manufacturing warehouse, specifically supervising a loading crew

• Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certification or previous knowledge will be an asset
• Can lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have excellent computer knowledge and skills
• Strong work ethic

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Prepare documents such as work orders, bills of lading.
• Oversee scheduling of packing and calculation of required truck space
• Responsible for optimizing order picking by staff based on the load manifest
• Responsible for ensuring staff has labeled and provided packing lists on all outgoing shipments.
• Responsible for ensuring orders are shipped complete
• Ensure crew has positioned wood blocks properly between skids and health and safety protocols are being met
• Maintain interval, manual or computerized record-keeping system
• Operating a forklift
• Other duties as assigned
