Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee our facility’s maintenance operations in Chester, PA. This role is responsible for leading a team of maintenance professionals to ensure the efficient operation of equipment, particularly in the areas of printing press and die cutting machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility maintenance and be well-versed in managing and optimizing the performance of printing presses and die cutting equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of facility maintenance to ensure a safe, clean, and functional workplace. Manage preventive maintenance programs and maintain building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- Ensure the optimal performance of printing press equipment by planning and performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Oversee any upgrades or modifications to printing press machinery to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Manage and maintain die cutting machinery to ensure high precision and efficiency. Perform routine inspections, repairs, and adjustments to equipment, and ensure that all die cutting operations meet quality standards.
- Lead, train, and supervise the maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Coordinate shift schedules and task assignments to ensure optimal coverage and productivity.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of necessary parts, tools, and supplies. Oversee the maintenance budget, focusing on cost-effective purchasing, equipment life-cycle management, and long-term planning for capital expenditures.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies. Implement safety protocols and oversee regular safety training for the maintenance team.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, installations, and inspections. Negotiate contracts and manage service agreements to ensure high-quality, cost-effective services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of maintenance management experience, with specific expertise in facility maintenance, printing press operations, and die cutting equipment.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and training a maintenance team.
- Strong technical knowledge of printing press machinery, die cutting operations, and general facility maintenance.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Salary:
- $80k - $100k (depending on experience).
