Our client is offering an opportunity to join them in their growth as a Civil Foreman/Foreperson. Business lines include: water/sewer, grading, deep excavation, concrete prep, storm water.
This role will provide leadership, schedules/coordination and will supervise to ensure productivity and safety. As an effective communicator, the Foreman/Foreperson will act as a management liaison for clients, consultants and the company.

This role will provide leadership, schedules/coordination and will supervise to ensure productivity and safety. As an effective communicator, the Foreman/Foreperson will act as a management liaison for clients, consultants and the company.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- 5 years of experience in the construction industry
- 3 years of experience as a Lead Hand or Acting Foreman.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication in a diverse work environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure and make decisions using sound judgment and critical thinking.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Supervision of the lay out, assembly and installation of various materials in consultation with Project Superintendent or manager to plan sequencing and schedule for field installation
- Coordinating and supervising daily activities of a team up to 10 people
- Responsible for establishing a safe work environment that complies Health & Safety program.
- Interacting with other company supervisors, inspectors and clients
- Following project plans and schedules and ensuring that the crew's daily and weekly activities meet production goals.
- Ordering through dispatch the proper equipment, materials and workforce for the following days activities
- Obtaining and preparing grade sheets from construction plans
- Extended work day hours and on-call may be required based on schedule or for jobsite emergencies.
- Competitive base salary, union rate equivalent or more depending on experience, plus overtime.
