Account Manager - HVAC Equipment

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is partnered with one of the most trusted names within the HVAC space in North America. Our client is a manufacturer & distributor and carries one of the most comprehensive product lines in the industry. They are in search of a Mechanical Sales Rep for their Edmonton branch. Their primary responsibility is to promote all the mechanical manufacturers that they represent, and to provide accurate and timely support, to all stakeholders in the HVAC industry.  

$80,000-$100,000

Primary Duties

 The following are the principal duties of the Mechanical Salesperson.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all industry stakeholders (Engineers, Architects, Contractors, Developers, Owners etc.), to grow sales and expand market share in accordance with company goals and objectives.
  • Promote the sale of all mechanical equipment including but not limited to Air Handling Units, Make Up Air Units, Roof Top Package Units, Dedicated Outdoor Air Units, Heat Pumps, Chillers and VRF.
        This will include: Carry out product selections for engineers and design/build contractors
  • Be able to identify, and maximize, opportunity.
  • Be able to interpret schedules, construction drawings, specifications, etc.
  • Negotiate sales.
  • Project manage the entire sales cycle from initial enquiry through end of warranty period.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience selling HVAC related mechanical equipment, but 5 or more years would be preferred.  A thorough knowledge of mechanical products is a must.
  • A background in Engineering, or a technical background in HVAC is required.
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Internet Explorer.
  • Understanding of how to read & interpret construction drawings.
  • Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, ethical business practices, and a reliable team member.
