Registered Respiratory Therapist
Hourly Rate: $39.27- $52.73
Union Group: OPSEU 577
Hours of work: 12-hour day (7am-7pm) AND (7pm-7am)night shifts & Some Statutory Holidays
Location: GTA
Responsibilities:
• Providing therapeutic, diagnostic and respiratory services.
• Ensuring the efficient delivery of respiratory services.
• Continually evaluating the effectiveness of therapies given to patients.
• Knowledge and experience with ventilation (invasive and non-invasive), airway management and spirometry, arterial blood gas collection, art line insertion, endotracheal intubation/ extubation, home oxygen assessment, required.
Qualifications & Desired Skills
• Current registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario(CRTO)
• NRP & BCLS certification required.
• A member of CSRT/RTSO.
• 1- 2 years acute care hospital experience preferred.
