Position Title: Senior Project Coordinator
ABOUT OUR CLIENT:

Principal Responsibilities:
- Organize and circulate the various documents required to execute the project, including drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and site instructions.
- Assist the Project Manager with building and ROW permits submissions.
- Support the tendering process, award contracts, and prepare trade contracts.
- Manage shop drawings and samples by processing, submitting for approval, and following up with consultants.
- Review contract drawings and coordinate the work of trade contractors.
- Maintain a strong presence on-site to meet regularly with site staff and trade contractors.
- Prepare and submit RFIs and expedite approvals of submittals and answers to RFIs.
- Review and circulate site instructions and inspection reports issued by consultants.
- Update and maintain the construction schedule using MS Project and Excel.
- Support the review of progress draws and trade contractor claims for change orders.
- Assist in preparing purchase orders and entering costs into the accounting system (Jonas).
- Help with project status reports and compliance documentation, such as Toronto Green Standards.
- Assist with décor management processes and PDI in-suite warranty programs.
- Participate in turnover preparation for condominium corporations and resolve deficiencies noted on Tarion Performance Audits.
General:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Perform additional duties as required.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience:
- 3–7 years of experience in multi-unit residential construction.
- Candidates ready to transition to Assistant Project Manager roles in 1–2 years.
- Alternatively, candidates with on-site experience who are tech-savvy and ready to transition to the project management side.

Skills:
- Strong planning, problem prevention, and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail in both office and site environments.
- Effective communication and consensus-building skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and project scheduling software.

Qualifications:
- Related post-secondary degree required.
- Professional designation is an asset but not mandatory.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Compensation: $100,000 – $110,000 per year, plus benefits
