Relocate 90 minutes outside Toronto - Non-Hybrid
$70-90k (base) + good benefits + RRSP
THE OPPORTUNITY
A firm located 90 minutes outside of Toronto, with decades of experience building mid to high-rise projects and repeat clients, needs a Revit Technologist to join an experienced team including an OAA Architect, BIM Manager, others Technologists and Interior Designer. This is a nice city with limited commute times and all the amenities of a larger city including parks, walking trails and a wide array of restaurants.
WHAT THEY NEED
• Someone with a Bachelor's of Architecture or architectural technology diploma from an accredited institution
• 4+ years of doing working drawings on mid to high rise residential (12F-40F) projects; strong Revit skills
• Strong OBC skills related to mid to high rise projects; good building science skills; experience dealing with RFIs, shop drawings; project coordination with MEP consultants
• Candidate proficient to produce a set of quality drawings: floor plans, elevations, building & wall sections; section details that meet code compliance
• A Revit Portfolio of (12F-40F) residential projects (not custom homes or townhomes); a Project list of at least 8+ projects within Ontario that you have been involved with
• Excellent communication skills; willingness to collaborate in-house with other team members on a daily basis
• Software: Revit (3+ years on-the job use), AutoCAD, Wrike, Microsoft Project & Photoshop
• Car with a valid G driver's license; willingness to occasionally visit job site for inspections, measurements and walk-throughs
