Position: Construction Site Superintendent- (industrial. commercial, and institutional interior and ground-up experience)
Location: Washington, DC
Compensation: $100-$145K plus benefits 

Job Overview

The role involves providing overall leadership throughout the entire construction process. The selected candidate will coordinate and implement work in the field, leveraging their extensive construction knowledge to ensure projects remain on or ahead of schedule. The ability to adapt to unexpected changes and creatively re-sequence work to maintain project timelines is crucial. The role also requires ensuring high-quality standards from all trades and achieving excellence in time, cost, quality, and client satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as the main leader for subcontractors and field personnel on-site.
• Manage project budgets and activities to meet or exceed project milestones.
• Conduct daily inspections of the construction site.
• Enforce safety protocols and address any site hazards.
• Maintain project safety in accordance with company policies.
• Lead weekly meetings with subcontractors.
• Develop and update project schedules, including producing look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate inspections, obtain necessary documentation, and ensure quality work before inspections.
• Request and write RFIs, review submittals, and ensure proper execution.
• Communicate regularly with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
