The Role
The Window and Door Sales Expert is responsible for representing top-tier window and door products while leveraging their millwork expertise. You will focus on building relationships with builders, contractors, architects, and remodelers to provide tailored solutions. Your role includes prospecting, account management, and fostering long-term partnerships with trade professionals.

This position offers a mix of fieldwork and office time, giving you the chance to connect with clients on-site, offer insights, and showcase premium product offerings. The ideal candidate will proactively grow our customer base through networking, referrals, and strategic meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual sales goals and customer satisfaction benchmarks.
  • Network with industry professionals.
  • Cultivate relationships with new and existing customers, providing personalized solutions to meet their project needs.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to recommend appropriate window, door, and millwork products.
  • Ensure accurate quotes and orders by adhering to established procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide seamless customer service, installation support, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain expertise in product offerings and industry trends, including competitor analysis.
  • Support the growth of your customers’ businesses by acting as a trusted advisor and single point of contact.
  • Occasionally work flexible hours to accommodate customer needs, including evenings and weekends.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in window and door sales, with a strong background in millwork.
  • Ability to build partnerships with builders, contractors, and other trade professionals.
  • Skilled at interpreting blueprints and providing accurate product recommendations.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to generate referrals.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills to address customer objections and close sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and smart devices; able to quickly learn internal software.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while keeping management informed.
  • Comfortable with fast-paced environments and adaptable to changing priorities.
