Job Overview
My client, a leader in confectionary, baking and general food manufacturing, are seeking a skilled Production Manager to oversee their manufacturing processes and ensure efficiency and quality of their production operations.
The Role:

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands
• Monitor production metrics and implement process improvements
• Ensure compliance with quality control standards
• Lead and mentor production team members
• Implement lean manufacturing principles for continuous improvement

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in the food industry is a must.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• A background in Mechanical Engineering is a strong asset.
• Strong process improvement skills
• Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
• Knowledge of quality control processes
• Ability to assemble and lead teams effectively
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
• Commitment to continuous improvement in production systems
