OUR CLIENT
Our client in Edmonton is hiring for an experienced Architectural Technologist with experience working on a range of projects including some larger scale ones, to join their busy and collaborative team. This company are growing and have a well established presence across Canada.
THE JOB
The ideal applicant will have excellent communication skills and work with team members throughout all processes of the project phases. This role will have focus in creating complex blueprints, working drawing packages, construction documents and creating building permits for submissions. With a fast paced environment and project deliverables and timelines to meet, the Architectural Technologist will need good attention to detail and able to work with accuracy.
This is a very collaborative team with an excellent, inclusive and flexible working environment within an organization that support professional growth and development.

WHAT'S REQUIRED
The ideal candidate will have the following credentials;
- Architectural Technology Diploma/Certification required
- 6+ years of experience as an Architectural Technologist
- Be currently living in Canada and have at least 2 years of working knowledge of the National building code
- Experience working with Revit is essential
- Experience working with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office is an asset
- Some Project management and Contract administration experience is desirable but not essential
- A range of project experience including some larger, complex concrete/steel construction (5 million plus in value)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
