Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed mechanical designs for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Create and revise engineering drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data and verify design requirements.
- Perform calculations and analyses to support design decisions.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including technical reports and submittals.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in a consulting firm space
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit required
- Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
