Our client has been an Industry leader for over 25 years in the electronics distribution space and continues to grow and increase market share across different verticals internationally. This Assistant Store Manager role is for one of their highest grossing stores in Canada and attracts the most volume.

In a fast-moving and dynamic setting, this position requires you to foster alignment and deliver results. You should demonstrate proficiency in navigating both strategic and operational challenges, showcasing analytical prowess, problem-solving abilities, and adept skills. This role demands a keen understanding of intricate business dynamics within a swiftly evolving organizational framework.

This role will report into the Store Manager and be responsible for supporting the Retail operation through various initiatives, strategies, planning & execution.



The Role:
Coach, mentor, and train sales representatives to ensure awareness and compliance with sales strategies and processes.
• Plan and develop work schedules, assigning sales representatives to specific duties.
• Partner with the Store Manager to recruit, train, and develop team members.
• Conduct monthly documented connects with the team.
• Manage bottom performance management.
• Oversee store opening and closing procedures.
• Conduct shift huddles (opening, mid-day, closing).
• Monitor flight data and pivot store operations accordingly.
• Manage store supplies inventory.
• Drive store and individual sales on the floor.
• Build a positive rapport with colleagues and clients, promoting corporate culture and values.
• Assist in managing the daily operations of the store, providing SIM card and wireless products and services to customers.
• Perform and supervise sales representatives in sales, customer service, inventory control, cash reconciliation, and daily transaction records.
• Coordinate sales promotion activities/events and oversee merchandise displays for store audits and advertising.
• Ensure sales representatives adhere to security, sales, and record-keeping processes and procedures.
• Develop and implement sales strategies with the Store Manager to achieve monthly store targets and sustain overall profitability.
• Review and approve new and existing client contracts.
• Prepare daily and monthly sales reports for management.
• Follow up with sales representatives to track progress towards monthly sales targets.
• Order merchandise and prepare requisitions to replenish inventory, conducting stock checks as needed.
• Participate in the development and execution of promotional activities with the marketing team.


Skills Required:
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and skills.
• Highly organized and self-motivated.
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Experience in meeting and exceeding sales goals and maintaining lasting relationships with clients.
• Ability to work a flexible full-time work schedule
