Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of new build projects. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record in managing complex construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the efforts of subcontractors, laborers, and project teams to ensure efficient workflow and optimal performance.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure all work meets or exceeds project standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant job site environment.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and make adjustments as necessary to achieve financial goals.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, employing strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Client Relations: Maintain positive relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project success.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a focus on new-build projects in the industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time and within budget.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • OSHA certification and other relevant safety training are preferred.
