$110,000-$130,000 - salary, plus commission, bonus, vehicle allowance, mileage, benefits.  Negotiable based on experience.


TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is partnered with a growing distributor of electrical  products and are searching for their new Territory Sales Representative for British Columbia.

This is an exciting opportunity for a salesperson with an entrepreneurial spirit (hunter) who has a background and knowledge of electrical products.  Our client supports industrial and commercial construction as well as renewable energy and power transmission contractors.  If you enjoy being client facing, and are skilled at developing long term, mutually beneficial client relationships, this one is for you!

The successful candidate would be working remotely and travelling throughout BC.  Predominantly increasing market share in Vancouver, travelling to Vancouver island and the interior quarterly and travelling to Northern BC annually.

Primary Role: To achieve budgeted sales and profitability by building a best-in-class electrical sales network that will drive sales and share of all products in the company portfolio.
  • Manage the territory and drive revenue streams for maximum coverage across select product lines
  • Identify new project opportunities.  Create  awareness and take active responsibility for the company’s profitability and success on each job.
  • Produce monthly sales forecasts, then plan and execute to achieve target sales.
  • Follow processes and procedures outlined in all phases of the business
  • Drive market share increases annually and attain new channel partners per assigned goals
  • Assess the territory distribution base and determine where we have and need coverage leading to replacing and/or re-engaging existing, and aggressively adding new customers.
  • Work closely with leadership in the management of everything impacting your region.

Experience and Qualifications 

  • Skilled in consultative selling techniques, needs analysis, and strategic planning
  • Have a background/knowledge of electrical products and solutions would be a strong (ex. Red Seal Electrician, C Tech)
  • Success selling electrical products and solutions to contractors or adjacent experience
  • Proven success in managing a large territory and growing an existing book of business.
  • Self-motivated and drive to succeed. Will work out of home office and travel 30 to 40%
  • Computer skills with Word, Excel
  • Valid driver’s license and passport.
