Service Sales Manager – Complex Commercial Roofing

Location: Waco, TX (Relocation assistance available)
Salary: $100,000–$120,000 annually + bonuses

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and Inspire:
    • Mentor, coach, and evaluate Sales Representatives to foster team growth and individual success.
    • Create a collaborative, results-driven sales culture.
  • Drive Business Growth:
    • Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the commercial roofing and building envelope market.
    • Identify and secure new opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to set and achieve ambitious sales goals.
  • Build Lasting Relationships:
    • Cultivate connections with property managers, consultants, architects, and contractors.
    • Offer tailored commercial roofing and building envelope service packages, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure Project Success:
    • Oversee accurate building measurements, estimates, and contracts.
    • Work closely with project teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to execution.
  • Engage in Marketing:
    • Participate in and plan marketing initiatives to expand visibility and reach new markets.
 
What You’ll Bring

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction sales, including managing a sales team.
  • At least 3 years of expertise in commercial roofing systems, including single-ply, asphalt, cold-applied, hot-applied, and metal systems.
  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • A track record of growing market share and driving business results.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills and proficiency with CRM or sales tracking tools.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of building envelope systems and solutions, including waterproofing and insulation.
  • A degree in Business or Construction Management.
  • Experience in driving sales for roofing projects in institutional or mission-critical environments (e.g., hospitals, schools, government buildings).
  • Fluent in Spanish
