As a result of growth & expansion, our distribution client is looking to add a new HVAC Sales Rep to their team in Edmonton! Our client is offering a lucrative compensation package. In addition to this, employer matching, benefits and more is being offered to the right professional.  Key Responsibilities:
Salary range would be in the $80,000-$100,000 base range, + a lucrative commission package.

  • HVAC Equipment Sizing & Selection: You will be responsible for accurately sizing and selecting a variety of HVAC equipment, including AHU’s, heat pumps, HRV’s, ERV’s, boilers, and more. Your expertise will ensure that we provide solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients while adhering to industry standards and energy efficiency guidelines.
  • Tender Evaluation & Bidding: You will take the lead in evaluating and responding to tenders for new construction and design-build projects. This involves preparing comprehensive and competitive bids, ensuring that all project specifications and requirements are met in a timely and professional manner.
  • Client Relationship Management: You will foster and maintain strong relationships with a broad client base, from contractors and consultants to end-users. Your ability to engage and understand the unique needs of each customer will be critical to ensuring ongoing success and repeat business.
  • Documentation & Project Execution: You will be responsible for managing project-related documents, including contracts, proposals, and project timelines. Ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently is key to supporting project execution and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Industry Expertise: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the HVAC industry is essential. You should have a deep understanding of HVAC systems, technologies, and products, as well as the technical acumen required to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Engineering Background: We are looking for someone with an Engineering background, completion of at least a 2 year program at minimum.
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are crucial for effectively interacting with clients, team members, and vendors. Your ability to convey complex technical information in an easily understandable way will be essential in building trust and rapport with clients.
  • Technical Problem-Solving: The ability to identify and resolve intricate technical issues related to HVAC systems and applications is vital. You will be relied upon to offer creative and effective solutions to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Computer Proficiency: Advanced computer skills are necessary, including proficiency with software such as MS Office, CRM systems, and specialized HVAC design tools. You should be comfortable working with technology to streamline processes and manage client interactions.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail is required to ensure that all technical specifications, proposals, and bids are accurate and meet customer expectations.
  • Valid Driver’s License: A valid Class 5 B.C. Driver’s License is required for travel to customer sites and project locations.
