OUR CLIENT
A top architecture and planning firm is looking for an Architectural Project Manager with 10+ years of experience working on complex multi-unit residential mid to high rise projects, leading teams of technologists, interns & junior architects. You are a Revit designer with a Revit portfolio of mixed-use residential projects; experienced leading structured teams on large scale multi-unit mid to high rise projects. This is a leadership role with a dynamic firm. 

THE JOB
The ideal candidate will be fully OAA licensed or close to it; someone with a proven track record working as an APM with a reputable firm on large scale high-rise projects. You have been Project lead on several large-scale projects and have strong references from both Principals and co-workers that you have mentored. You've managed projects from initial concept designs through tender and construction phases. You possess a collaborative leadership style that fosters growth and inclusivity, while holding people accountable for timeline and budget constraints.

WHAT'S REQUIRED
The ideal candidate will have the following credentials;
  • Master of Architecture, Bachelor of Architecture; or Architectural Technology Diploma from a recognised institution & strong Revit skills
  • 10-15 years of experience working as an architectural professional within a multi-disciplinary architectural firm; 4+ years as a Project Lead or Architectural PM;  
  • Be currently living in Canada and 7+ years of experience working with building codes in Canada; preference to candidates with a demonstrated history of promotions within established architectural firms    
  • A Revit portfolio of multi-family, high rise, mixed use or large commercial experience, demonstrating design excellence
  • Experience working with Revit is essential - strong capabilities required
  • Ability to lead early stages of concept design; recognize highly detailed working drawings and provide mark-ups and mentorship to those that need support in this area; experience dealing with building permits, SPAs, rezoning; submittals to clients, overseeing client reporting as well as comfort with contract administration (change orders, RFIs, shop drawings); A-Z experience  
  • Experience working with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, & MS Office
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to effectively coach others; to anticipate & influence outcomes across multiple competing stakeholders
