Our client is a local third-party property and asset management company.  This is an entrepreneurial group that are known for their straightforward approach and attention to detail.  They have grown quickly since their inception and have worked hard to keep a very open and collaborative work culture.  This position will report directly into the Property Manager and help manage tenant relations and property management functions for a multi-site commercial mixed portfolio (office/industrial/retail) of roughly 2M sq ft across Calgary and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate would be proactive, inquisitive, forward thinking and enjoy working with a team. Please note that this is an in-office working model.

Property Administrator Key Responsibilities:
  • Support property management with administrative tasks, including lease documentation and correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate records of tenant information, lease agreements, and property expenses.
  • Act as a primary contact for tenant inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with service providers to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Assist in budgeting, financial reporting, and invoice processing.
  • Organize and maintain property files, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare reports and presentations as needed to support management decisions.
  • Participate in tenant relations initiatives to foster a positive building environment.
  • Issue purchase orders for required work and issue trades
  • Manage tenant move-in/move-out processes
Property Administrator Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience within property management/administration is required
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset to ensure efficient property operations.
Property Administrator Compensation:

The successful candidate will receive an annual base salary between $55,000-$75,000 dependent on experience, growth potential and participation in company benefit plan.
