About the Role
Our client, a growing Canadian Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brand seeks a dynamic Vice President, Franchising to drive the aggressive national expansion.. Reporting directly to the CEO and Ownership, this individual will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the real estate and franchising strategy.

As a seasoned industry leader, you will be responsible for identifying prime locations, securing high-quality franchise partners, and leading the charge in scaling the brand across Canada. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility with 1-2 days per week working remotely, balanced with in-office collaboration and on-site market visits.


Vice President, Franchising Key Responsibilities

•    Lead National Expansion Strategy – Develop and execute a comprehensive franchise growth plan, identifying new market opportunities.
•    Franchisee Recruitment & Development – Identify, attract, and secure top-tier franchise partners who align with the brand’s vision and values.
•    Real Estate Strategy – Work closely with VP, Real Estate to secure high-traffic, high-potential locations.
•    Market Analysis & Site Selection – Conduct thorough research to identify optimal markets and sites for new franchise locations.
•    Relationship Management – Serve as the primary liaison between franchisees, corporate leadership, and external stakeholders.
•    Operational & Financial Oversight – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure franchisee success, compliance, and profitability.


Vice President, Franchising Qualifications & Skills

✔ 5+ years of franchising experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.
✔ Proven track record of real estate development and franchise growth at a national level.
✔ Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with franchisees, and stakeholders.
✔ Ability to analyze market trends and identify opportunities.
✔ Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
✔ Willingness to travel as needed to evaluate new sites and meet with potential franchisees.
