Superintendent
Heavy Civil, Water/Sewer
Salary: $130-$150K, based on experience, bonus, truck, gas card

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable Water/Sewer Contractor company based in the GTA, Ontario.  Our client is successful family-owned company with over a decade of experience servicing local municipalities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• 5 years construction experience specifically within Water and Sewer

• Exceptional communication skills, written, verbal, online

• Proven success overseeing a team and the ability to lead them to complete projects

• Exceptional claims/extras management experience

• Demonstrated commitment to your team and the aims and goals of the company

• Demonstrated experience in cost savings on project delivery

• Demonstrated experience developing customer focused client relationships

• Keen sense of foresight and versatility and a track record for creative problem solving

WHAT'S REQUIRED

• Develop, train and grow a new crew to take on projects in other municipalities of the GTA
• Manage, lead and control projects from start to finish, including staff, sub-contractors performing staff assignments and job management.
• Interact and collaborate with Sub Contractors, PM’s/PC’s, inspectors and clients
• Ensuring proper techniques are utilized to achieve the highest possible workmanship and quality of work
• Ability to plan, execute, and supervise the maintenance/installation of all Sewer and Water systems
• Inspecting the completed work and initiating timely resolutions if required
• Knowing, understanding, communicating and ensuring compliance with the safety regulations (H&S Act) and safety policies and procedures in the company policy
• Maintaining a strong work ethic and positive attitude which will motivate the crew to meet goals
• Management of the project, ongoing discussion of progress and process
• Train and mentor crew members on construction best practices and procedures
• Create and develop innovate solutions to make processes efficient, safer and more productive
