Job Overview:
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Designer/Engineer to join a dynamic and reputable team. The role involves leading the design and development of mechanical systems for a variety of commercial, residential, healthcare, and institutional building projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, and proficiency in Revit. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the mechanical design process for building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
• Prepare and review detailed designs, drawings, and specifications using Revit and other design tools.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project integration.
• Conduct load calculations, energy modeling, and equipment selection to meet project requirements and code compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and engineers.
• Perform site visits to assess project requirements, verify installations, and ensure quality control.
• Stay up-to-date on industry standards, codes, and emerging technologies.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in mechanical design for the building industry.
• Proficiency in Revit is essential
• Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and sustainable design practices.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when needed.
