Senior Project Manager

Sr. Project Manager – ICI Construction
Location: Ontario (GTA and surrounding areas)
Salary: $135,000–$170,000 + comprehensive package

We are partnering with a leading, employee-owned General Contractor known for delivering exceptional projects across ICI and multi-unit residential construction. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a talented Project Manager to join their team and oversee exciting, large-scale projects.

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Project Manager will lead project teams, working collaboratively with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role involves overseeing all phases of the construction process, from pre-construction planning to project closeout.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

  • Lead all aspects of project planning, including scope, objectives, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and tracking.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Team Coordination:

  • Build and coordinate project teams, fostering collaboration among architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Mentor and manage project personnel while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Construction Oversight:

  • Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to timelines, design specifications, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular site visits, oversee meetings, and resolve any technical or contractual issues.

Budget & Cost Management:

  • Manage project finances, including progress billings, cost reports, and change orders.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.

Quality Control & Communication:

  • Enforce quality control procedures and ensure projects meet or exceed expectations.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and provide detailed progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Civil/Construction/Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in ICI construction project management.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction practices, estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency with construction software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, BIM tools).
  • Certifications such as Gold Seal, LEED, Net Zero, WELL, or Passive House are assets.
