What You’ll Be Doing:
As our Electrical Estimator, you’ll play a vital role in the success of our projects—from start to finish. You’ll work closely with project managers, field leadership, and clients to prepare accurate and competitive bids for commercial and industrial projects throughout Central Texas.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for commercial and industrial electrical projects
- Review project specifications, drawings, and scope of work to understand job requirements
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and evaluate proposals
- Work with the project team to identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving measures
- Participate in pre-construction meetings and support the transition from estimating to project execution
What We’re Looking For:
- 3-5+ years of experience in electrical estimating (commercial or industrial preferred)
- Solid knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and installation practices
- Proficiency with estimating software, such as McCormick or ( Accubid, ConEst, or similar)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and great at managing multiple bids at once
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
