Junior Estimator – ICI Commercial Construction

About the Role:
Our client is seeking a Junior Estimator with experience in ICI Commercial construction, including complex builds. The ideal candidate has worked on projects such as banks and institutional buildings and is confident in preparing bids and tenders. This role is based in Scarborough, ON, and offers the opportunity to grow within a dynamic and reputable construction company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate estimates, bids, and tenders for ICI projects only.

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and contracts to determine cost structures.

• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather pricing and scope details.

• Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations on cost-effective solutions.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry costs, materials, and construction methods.

Qualifications & Experience:
✔ 3+ years of Canadian experience in estimating within the ICI Commercial construction sector in the Greater Toronto area
✔ Experience with banks, institutional buildings, and complex construction projects.
✔ Strong knowledge of tendering processes and bid preparation.
✔ Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
✔ Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
