THE ROLE
As a key member of the team, you’ll apply your technical acumen and attention to detail to design and refine structural systems that meet both aesthetic and functional goals. Working closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, you'll oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with building codes and industry best practices.
- Develop and integrate structural components into building designs, ensuring they meet all regulatory and jurisdictional standards.
- Solve complex engineering challenges by preparing accurate drawings, calculations, and blueprints to support project execution.
- Lead structural analysis, material selection, and layout planning while ensuring optimal space utilization and system efficiency.
- Conduct site evaluations, zoning assessments, and field reviews to document existing conditions and anticipate potential challenges.
- Prepare comprehensive engineering specifications for Project Manuals to maintain clarity and alignment among all stakeholders.
- Review project drawings, service layouts, and shop details to confirm adherence to design intent, industry regulations, and quality standards.
WHAT YOU BRING
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or a related field).
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification required; SE designation is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in industry-leading software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and structural design tools.
- Extensive experience with post-tensioned concrete design is highly desirable.
- Expertise in structural systems across a wide range of building types.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, design methodologies, and building codes.
- Active registration with a professional engineering association.
- A proven track record of successfully managing projects and delivering high-quality structural designs.
