Intermediate Architect / Intern Architect
Vancouver, BC
Reputable Architecture Firm
Large, Complex Mixed-Use Projects
$85K–$105K Salary Range

About the Firm

We’re proud to be partnering with a highly respected architecture firm in Vancouver - one that’s known for redefining the city skyline. With a legacy of bold, technically sophisticated mixed-use developments, this team delivers high-rise residential, commercial, and master-planned projects that elevate how communities live, work, and connect.

Why You’ll Want to Join

This isn’t just another studio, it’s a place where talented architects thrive. Based in one of Vancouver’s most vibrant neighborhoods (hello, great coffee + culture), the firm champions balance, creativity, and professional growth.
You’ll enjoy:

  • Flexible work policies and strong benefits

  • Regular team retreats and social events

  • A culture that invests in your development and well-being

The Role: Intermediate Architect

You’ll be a core contributor on large-scale mixed-use projects - shaping design from concept through construction. It’s a great opportunity to stretch into leadership, while still being hands-on with design and delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design Execution: Take the lead on refining and evolving project concepts, ensuring design intent carries through to documentation

  • Project Coordination: Collaborate across disciplines to keep complex projects on track—on time and on budget

  • Documentation: Create and manage detailed drawing sets that meet BCBC, VBBL, and zoning requirements

  • Construction Admin: Handle RFIs, site reviews, submittals, and instructions during the build phase

  • Code + Detail Expertise: Apply your sharp eye for codes, details, and materials to elevate quality

  • Team Collaboration: Mentor junior staff and contribute to a culture of curiosity and excellence

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture

  • 5–8 years of experience (ideally on complex mixed-use or commercial projects)

  • Strong Revit skills (AutoCAD, Rhino, and rendering experience are bonuses)

  • Deep construction knowledge and attention to detail

  • A proactive, organized approach and strong coordination chops

  • Familiarity with permit processes and BCBC/VBBL code

What’s In It for You?

  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits

  • High-impact, high-visibility project work

  • Clear paths to grow into senior/lead roles

  • A creative, collaborative workplace that actually walks the talk

If you’re ready to take a bigger role in bold, city-shaping projects - I’d love to meet you.
