About the Role

We’re seeking a motivated and design-focused Intermediate Architect or Intern Architect who is eager to grow their skills and contribute to exciting, complex projects. You’ll play a key role in all phases of project delivery, from concept design through to construction administration, while working alongside a team of highly experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and technical development of projects across a range of sectors.

  • Prepare presentation materials, working drawings, and permit submission packages.

  • Collaborate with senior architects, project managers, and consultants to coordinate project deliverables.

  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to support successful project outcomes.

  • Ensure design intent and technical quality are maintained throughout project documentation and delivery.

  • Stay informed on building codes, regulations, and industry best practices to support project success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

  • 3–7 years of professional experience in an architectural practice.

  • Intern Architect status or working toward AIBC registration is preferred.

  • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD; experience with SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.

  • Strong understanding of BC Building Code and municipal permitting processes.

  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

  • A passion for thoughtful, high-quality design and a desire to contribute to impactful projects.
