Our client, a renown wound care company, is looking for an HR Manager to lead the HR department under the direction of the Vice President of HR. The HR Manager will provide expert HR and benefits support to a rapidly expanding, fast-paced, and change-oriented organization.  You will be responsible for the workforce of 300+ employees that are spread across the corporate headquarters in Bucks County, PA, distribution centers in 4 states, and remotely in 27 states.

The HR Manager should possess demonstrated competence with leading teams and organizing and executing strategic plans. This position exercises leadership in the following functional areas: benefits administration, policy ownership and implementation, employee relations, training & development, compensation, processes & procedures, and projects as they relate to people processes, HR, and organizational development. They must have a strong background in benefits administration, policy development, and process management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Nurture a positive working environment throughout the organization.
  • Manage HR department staff members by setting objectives, delineating work assignments, tracking progress, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Directly responsible for full benefits administration (medical, dental, vision, and ancillaries) 
  • Design, execute and manage efficient systems and workflows for the HR department and HR-related matters throughout the company to meet business needs.
  • Spearhead the development, implementation, and management of a revised Employee Handbook and other employment policies.
  • Oversee the management of up-to-date employee records in accordance with compliance standards.
  • Develop, manage, and communicate policies and procedures for hiring, onboarding, training, compensation, employee benefits, labor relations, status changes, personnel information, terminations, etc. Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Develop, research, and implement training programs for managers and employees. 
  • Oversee the implementation of employee engagement efforts such as holiday celebrations, awards, wellness events, 401k education sessions, lunch & learns, annual flu shot, etc. Ensure that the HR department engages creatively with managers and employees in planning and executing employee incentives and cultural initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State reporting, mandatory notices, ERISA, annual filings of 5500 forms, OSHA reporting, labor postings, and other regulations.
  • Ensure the company’s compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Stay up-to-date with legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating legislation, and advising management on needed actions.
  • Advise on compensation strategies for departments and positions based on market research and pay surveys.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as an HR generalist, management experience a plus
  • Human Resources certification, such as SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP
  • Ability to mentor and develop members of the HR team
  • Ability to effectively relate to all levels of management and employees
  • Demonstrated competence with leading teams
  • Demonstrated success with organizing and executing strategic plans
  • Experience with analyzing data to guide HR strategic initiatives
  • Polite, professional, and timely written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to effectively gain trust and build relationships
  • Advanced interpersonal skills to navigate complex working relationships and difficult conversations – tactful, empathetic, thoughtful, good listener
  • Ability to foster healthy employee relations
  • Ability to maintain appropriate work and personal boundaries while preserving company culture
  • Up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and labor relations
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word)
  • Experience in the build-out of HRIS systems, Paylocity preferred
  • Highly organized with strong attention detail, documentation, and accuracy
  • Problem-identification and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately
  • Strong business acumen
  • Responsive and willing attitude in execution of duties.
  • Manufacturing and/or warehouse experience, preferred

Salary range: 90-110k

Must work 5 days on-site in Bristol, PA

Must be vaccinated for COVID-19
