Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a seasoned Site Superintendent to lead the construction of a large-scale residential development. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the on-site management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and with exceptional quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Manage and coordinate all construction activities, ensuring adherence to plans, schedules, and safety requirements.
- Scheduling & Efficiency: Develop and maintain project timelines to maximize productivity while ensuring deadlines are met.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Oversee and manage subcontractor activities, promoting collaboration across trades to achieve seamless project execution.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain site logs, daily reports, change orders, and key construction records.
- Safety Leadership: Conduct regular safety meetings and site inspections to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Procurement and Issue Resolution: Coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders, resolving challenges that may arise on-site.
- Team Management: Lead on-site personnel, including finishing superintendents and support staff, while providing guidance and mentorship.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of five years of experience in a supervisory role within residential construction.
- Strong understanding of low-rise residential construction processes and building codes.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical specifications.
- Solid organizational and multitasking skills.
- Experience managing budgets and schedules.
- Familiarity with construction management software and technology.
Compensation:
$120K-$140K based on experience and technical expertise.
