The Position

Reporting to the Managing Director, Private Funds, the Senior Manager, Investor and ESG Reporting will predominantly be responsible for preparing all private investor reporting materials for private funds and separate accounts as well as project managing the production of the ESG Annual Report. Additionally, they will play a key role in supporting their private capital raising efforts through, amongst others, the completion of due diligence questionnaires. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated self-starter to join a dynamic and collaborative organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with cross-departmental teams and prepare quarterly reporting for third-party investment vehicles investing in residential developments and single family rental
  • Act as the interface between their investment, private funds investor relations, accounting, legal and compliance teams
  • Project manage the production of the 2023 ESG Report alongside the Director of ESG Strategy
  • Provide project management expertise to the launch of new investment products
  • Assist with the completion of Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), draft language as needed
  • Maintain the master investor database (Management of CRM database) with all existing and prospective private investor contacts, commitments and recent communication
  • Oversee the Investor Support Mailbox
  • Develop, maintain, and demonstrate an in-depth understanding of private equity real estate and their Residential’s investment products

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or Economics, or MBA
  • CPA or CFA designation is considered an asset
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in one of several of these functions: financial advisory, alternative investments (real estate, private equity, or infrastructure), capital markets, investment banking, corporate banking or investor relations
  • Knowledge of private equity real estate and experience working with private funds preferred
  • Understanding of institutional investment marketplace and interest in financial markets
  • Interest in Environment Social and Governance matters
  • Highly analytical, skilled at problem solving and decision-making
  • Ability to cope with high pressure, deadline driven environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability and enthusiasm to work collaboratively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • High level of tact and diplomacy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, expert ability in PowerPoint
  • Must be vaccinated
