THE FIRM 
TalentSphere is partnering with a larger award-winning architectural firm located downtown Toronto involved with a range of community projects: community housing, healthcare, education and long-term homes. They employ a diverse and dynamic team of multi-disciplinary architectural professionals: pride themselves in having a flat organization based on mutual respect and collaboration.



ROLE OVERVIEW 
This is a daily in-office, high touchpoint role that involves building rapport across senior leaders and staff members. You will curate the firm's digital assets: BIM files, studies, photos, product specifications and project documentation. You will also offer support with daily basic IT needs (i.e. keyboards, mousepads, cords, info & training on software updates) across the organization.           

     

WHAT'S REQUIRED 
•    Education from an accredited institution; BFA or Master's in F+PPCM (Film + Photography Preservation and Collections Management) or degree in Museum Studies or LIS (Library and Information Science) highly desirable           
•   2+ years of full-time work experience as a digital asset specialist/archivist; knowledge of the architectural industry highly desirable        
•    Work with senior leadership (Principals and BIM team) to manage/move digital assets to the cloud (Autodesk Cloud Computing)     
•    Organize and coordinate the purchase of workstations; daily basic IT support for mouses, keyboards, cords, software updates; manage licensing of technology platforms; approve and report these IT invoices        
•    Train and manage roll-outs of Azure and SharePoint usage; act as a resource for basic IT needs and use of digital libraries 
•    Work with the leadership to develop processes and best practices, including weekly reports   
•    Exceptional communication skills; ability to synthesize ideas from senior leaders to create processes; communicate basic IT needs across diverse employees
