Position Overview
This managerial position shall be responsible for the sales and collection of the related service requests ensuring a timely process of all warranty and billable service requests within the Division.  The Service Manager shall maintain a positive company image and nurture public relations with homebuilders, property management companies, private clients, and internal customers alike.  This position shall support the Service Coordinators, Service Sales Staff, and Service Technicians.  The reporting of this position will be to the Residential Production Manager & Commercial General Manager.

Essential Job Functions
•    Supervise customer service administrative staff, service sales staff, and technicians.
•    Familiarize personnel regarding warranty procedures.  
•    Maintain a work schedule for assigned territory.
•    Assist staff in responding to customer questions.
•    Collect all purchase orders from builder’s representatives and follow up with accounting.
•    Implement billing procedures that ensure a maximum of 72 hours of invoice delivery to customer with appropriate city & state taxes. 
•    Ensure the service coordinators and service sales staff creates the proper material requests.
•    Ensure that the appropriate procedures are in place for after hour emergencies.
•    Monitor completion and quality of service items.
•    Generate daily reports on completion of warranty & billable items and report to commercial and residential departments.
•    Produce procedures manual for routine, emergency, and warranty items.
•    Retain warranty and/or additional service documentation.
•    Provide training, performance reviews for staff.
•    Identify recurring warranty issues with construction and trades personnel.
•    Acquaint builder representatives with company policies and procedures.
•    Maintain current roofing reference materials.
•    Monitor and process weekly payroll.
•    Assist service coordinators in maintaining department organizational flow.
•    Monitor payables to ensure aging is not past 30 days of collections.
•    Instruct and train service technicians on performing upselling for other work that might need to be completed on a property.
•    Meet revenue thresholds for the department.  Within the first 60 days, the expectation would be to generate $100,000/month in commercial & $50,000/month in residential invoicing.  Future goals will be determined with the management team.
•    Create new service clients for the organization.
•    Ensure that Data Forma is updated with appropriate information both from the field and the office personnel, including clear notes and pictures.
•    Prepare monthly reporting to appropriate department for warranty items.
•    Ensure that communication is occurring with customers with scheduling and progress of repairs.
•    Refer reroof opportunities to the appropriate sales team.
•    Provide disciplinary action as needed to the service team.
•    Inspect company vehicles assigned to the Service Division for maintenance and safety equipment once per week.
