Established in the 1990s, our client is a Texas-based Commercial General Contracting firm. With operations in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado, they provide General Contracting, Retail Tenant Finish out, Commercial New Construction/Remodeling, and Restoration services for over 15 years.   

Job Description: 

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our client's team. As a Commercial Construction Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities:   

1. Leadership Abilities: Our project managers must be strong leaders capable of effectively managing project teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. We are seeking candidates with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to inspire and motivate others, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

2. Communication Skills: Effective communication is essential for our project managers to liaise with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members. We are looking for candidates with strong verbal and written communication skills who can clearly convey information, instructions, and expectations.

3. Budget and Cost Management: Our project managers are responsible for managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring projects are completed within budgetary constraints. This candidate must be proficient with cost estimation, budget forecasting, and cost control measures.

4. Schedule Management: Timely completion of projects is critical to our clients. This candidate must have experience in project scheduling, resource allocation, and milestone tracking to ensure projects are delivered on time.

5. Risk Management: We are seeking candidates who are adept at identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and implementing measures to minimize project delays and disruptions.

6. Quality Assurance: Our project managers play a key role in ensuring that projects meet quality standards and comply with specifications. We are looking for candidates who have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

10. Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients is essential for the success of our construction projects. We are seeking candidates with strong client-facing skills, the ability to understand and address client needs and concerns, and a customer-focused approach.


  • 5-10 years of experience as a commercial construction Project Manager, managing projects from start to finish. (Bonus if prior field Superintendent experience)
  • A degree or certification in construction management, PMP, engineering, or a related field is a plus
  • Proficient in construction management software such as  Procore, PlanGrid, or Autodesk BIM 360. Familiarity with scheduling tools, cost estimation software, and other relevant technology used in the industry is important.
