  • Must have 2-5 years of relevant experience in commercial retail construction and/or ICI.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Project Management certification is an asset. We grow candidates within, and this would help with your progression with our organization.
  • Experience with comprehending construction drawings including architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and site specifications.
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills, along with exceptional time management and problem-solving skills. Scheduling is very important to us and our strong pedigree of clients demand it.
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and written
  • Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members at all levels in the organization.
  • Must be able to travel if/when required (depends on the complexity of the project) all case by case. 
Key Responsibilities
  • Own and Manage construction projects for assigned clients from pre-construction to completion.
  • Experience with bidding/estimating, project planning, scheduling, and work progress.
  • Issue purchase orders, maintaining cost files, managing change orders. 
  • Implement and comply with all Ministry of Labour health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Liaise and coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, engineers, and architects to ensure each phase of the build-out is completed successfully and on time.
  • Managing overall project closeout including document maintenance, deficiencies, and warranty work
