Our client in Calgary, is hiring for an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist with experience working on commercial projects, to join their busy and collaborative team. This company are growing and have a well established presence across Canada.
THE JOB
The ideal applicant will have excellent communication skills and work with team members throughout all processes of the project phases. This role will have focus in creating complex blueprints, working drawings and construction documents. With a fast paced environment and project deliverables and timelines to meet, the Architectural or Building Technologist will need excellent project management and leadership skills. This is a very collaborative and collective team with an excellent and inclusive working environment and an organization that allows the flexibility to design and learn as their career moves forward. Project experience in public sector, community, commercial and institutional work is preferred.

WHAT'S REQUIRED
The ideal candidate will have the following credentials;
- Architectural Technology Diploma/Certification required
- Between 7 and 25 years' experience as an Architectural Technologist
- Be currently living in Canada and have at least 3 years of North American industry experience
- Experience working with Revit is essential
- Experience working with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office is an asset
- Some Project management and CA experience is desirable
- Some experience with commercial and or public projects is required
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to mentor and manage junior staff
