Territory Manager - Building Materials Sales

Due to continued growth of their business, my client is seeking an outgoing and motivated Territory Manager (Outside Sales) to further develop their Northern Ontario market. This business is widely recognized as the leader in their field for offering high-quality and innovative products, and for having excellent long term employees who represent them.
The ideal candidate will be a strong relationship builder with experience travelling within, and selling building materials to the Northern Ontario market.
Previous experience in Outside Sales of a Building Material product is necessary to be considered for this position.
- Promote products to achieve sales budgets and identify new/prospective clients (Lumber yards, Specialty Dealers, Builders, Commercial GCs & A+D)
- Cross/up-sell to existing customers and to expand depth of the relationship and product categories purchased
- Create a strong pipeline of ongoing sales opportunities with both new and existing customers
- Support team efforts and work in a collaborative manner with colleagues to achieve results and satisfy clients
- Develop strong and profitable relationships with clients
- Ensure excellent levels of customer service, trust and transparency are upheld
- Engage with the wider market to understand competitive products, services and pricing
- Attend, host and participate in customer, industry and organizational events
- Overnight travel up to 25%
