Regional Sales Representative
We currently seek a dynamic Regional Sales Representative with a demonstrable track record of achievement, and who applies themselves with Passion, Drive and Initiative for this unique position. If these attributes sound like you, specific product and industry information can be trained – some exposure to construction or building materials industry is desired, but not required.
Our client enjoys an enviable reputation as a leading brand within their category of building materials products. Providing quality products, excellent customer service, and dependability to their customers has enabled their markets to expand and sales to increase year-over-year. With an experienced Regional Manager leading from the front, this team is currently enjoying continued growth, and are looking to add a Regional Sales Representative to further penetrate the Greater Barrie and surrounding teritory (20 – 25% travel).
In this role, the Regional Sales Representative will be tasked with strengthening relationships with existing customers, prospecting for new potential customers, and mining for opportunities to develop sales via; business development, cross-selling, introduction of new products and categories, and the overall development of trusting, dependable relationships with customers.
Knowledge of the territory, and ideally based somewhere in the Greater Barrie Area is required in order to help our client drive sales through proactive sales activity and regular visibility to customers. You should be comfortable in a customer facing role, traveling daily to call on multiple clients, and have experience selling on behalf of a manufacturer or some form of distribution model previously.
