Architecture Firm - Non-Hybrid
THE OPPORTUNITY
One of Ottawa's most established architectural firms seeks an OAA licensed Architect experienced in university, school & office projects. They also do projects requiring federal clearance. Their office is newly renovated with plenty of space & they work collaboratively in the office every day & provide training & lunch and learns. They seek a technically minded Architect with 3+ years leading teams that enjoys working alongside others while giving and receiving mentorship. Leadership believes in generous bonuses when the firm does well. This role requires daily collaboration in the office: no hybrid/remote work option available.
WHAT THEY NEED
• Someone with a Master's or Bachelor's of Architecture; 5-10 years post-graduate experience; fully OAA architect from another reputable firm
• Candidate strong in both Revit & AutoCAD with a track record of leading a team of architects, interns & technologists across all stages of projects: programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents & contract administration
• A technically focused Architect; building science and value engineering centric
• Candidates with a portfolio of schools, corporate offices, dealerships, distribution centers, manufacturing plants; moderate size new build projects in $5-15M range
• Experienced juggling multiple projects; mentoring others, overseeing production drawings, being front facing with the client and focused on value-engineering
• Someone that enjoys working alongside others; someone eager to deal with all aspects of a project and committed to further professional development
