Summary:
We are looking to hire a Senior Superintendent with Commercial or Multifamily experience who oversees and manages all aspects of a project.
You will be responsible for ensuring that Commercial or Multifamily projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget.

What You’ll Do:

• Project Planning: Collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop project plans, including construction schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Supervision and Coordination: Overseeing and coordinating the activities of construction crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that work is executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulations and quality standards.
• Resource Management: Managing labor, equipment, and materials to optimize productivity and cost-effectiveness. This includes monitoring and controlling project expenses and ensuring that resources are utilized efficiently.
• Quality Control: Implementing and enforcing quality control processes to ensure that workmanship and materials meet or exceed project specifications. Conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues or deficiencies that arise during construction.
• Safety Compliance: Promoting and enforcing safety protocols and practices on the construction site to ensure a safe working environment for all workers. Conducting regular safety inspections and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
• Communication: Serving as a point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Providing regular project updates, addressing concerns, and resolving any conflicts or issues that may arise during construction.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate and detailed records of construction activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and any changes or deviations from the original project plan. Generating reports and communicating project status to senior management and clients.
• Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving construction-related problems, such as design conflicts, material shortages, or logistical challenges. Implementing effective solutions to keep the project on track and minimize delays or cost overruns.

What You’ll Need:

• Education: A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Construction experience: 5 -7 years of experience as a Superintendent.
• Knowledge of commercial construction: A strong understanding of commercial and construction processes, codes, regulations, and best practices is necessary. This includes knowledge of various building systems, such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural elements.
• Project management skills: Must have excellent project management skills to effectively plan, schedule, and coordinate construction activities. This involves managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
• Leadership and communication: Strong leadership and effective communication skills.
• Problem-solving abilities: Possess strong problem-solving, and decision-making skills., must be able to identify and address construction-related challenges, find practical solutions, and make informed decisions that keep projects on track.
• Attention to detail: Must Pay Attention to detail to ensure the quality of workmanship and compliance with specifications and building codes.
• Technology proficiency: Proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera P6, Procore, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
