Post Construction Site Superintendent
Reporting to the Vice-President Post Construction & Quality Assurance, the Post Construction Site Superintendent is an important part of the team that has the responsibility of effectively managing the day-to-day post construction and Tarion needs of their assigned high-rise residential project(s). This includes, but is not limited to:
 
  • Manage client's suite and / or common area Quality Assurance program during construction for assigned projects
  • Manage the rectification of Performance Audit (Pre-Performance, 1st Year and 2nd Year) deficiency items as required
  • Coordinate deficiency distribution lists
  • Prepare and maintain various communication related to scheduling and monitoring of the rectification of all warranted (and non-warranted items, with Owner’s Discretion) items
  • Direct and supervise site staff and trade labour force as required including the management of key runners, as required, to ensure all trades performing work are appropriately supervised during suite access.
  • Attend and/or lead meetings with Ownership, Trades, Tarion and/or any other related party during the Post-Construction process
  • Provide assistance to the Construction staff where required, for any common element related deficiencies that may affect the interior of the suite.
  • Provide and maintain all administrative duties required for the project and / or client’s systems and procedures related to the project as required
  • Consistently communicate with the Project Ownership’s team to ensure both Owner and Home Owner are satisfied with the performed work, and that no further investigation would be required
  • Prepare and maintain various communication/documentation with trades as required
  • Prepare and maintain various communication/documentation with site staff as required
  • Maintain familiarity with safety responsibilities and duties and work in safe manner
  • Enforce safety policies as required
  • Uphold and adhere to the company policies including a clean and safe work environment
  • Time manage yourself with meeting deadlines and project requirements
  • Attend and participate in company and/or site meetings as required
  • Other work and tasks related to company’s objective, or as required by the Employer
Compensation
$120K-$140K plus package, benefits & allowances
