Senior Waterproofing Estimator – Commercial Construction
Location: Dallas, TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $70,000–$90,000 per year (based on experience)
Total Compensation Potential: Up to $110,000+ with bonuses

About the Role:

We’re hiring a Senior Estimator to join a growing commercial contractor that’s built its name on quality, integrity, and strong client relationships. This role focuses on commercial waterproofing projects—both new construction and remedial—and is ideal for someone who knows how to build accurate scopes, communicate clearly, and take ownership from estimate to execution.

You'll be a key player in the preconstruction team, working closely with clients, internal teams, and trade partners. If you enjoy problem-solving, diving deep into project details, and making sure the right solution is priced and presented—this is your seat at the table.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the estimating process for commercial waterproofing projects
  • Conduct field observations and inspections
  • Prepare detailed estimates and proposals using digital takeoff tools
  • Review plans, specs, and scope details with clients and project teams
  • Assist junior estimators and collaborate with preconstruction teammates
  • Lead hand-off meetings with operations to ensure alignment and execution
  • Represent the company in pre-bid meetings, client education, and industry events
  • Manage change order pricing, contract scope verification, and relationship development from concept to handoff
What You Bring:
  • Four-year degree preferred OR at least 5 years of construction experience with 2+ years in estimating
  • Experience with waterproofing systems and building envelope scopes
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, codes, moisture control, and wind pressure standards
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction documents
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing 3–5 estimates per week
  • Problem-solving, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Physically able to visit job sites (climb ladders, scaffolding, stairs, etc.)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Why Join This Team:
  • Base salary of $70,000–$90,000
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities (total comp potential over $110,000)
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid vacation and holidays
  • Opportunities for advancement and professional development
  • Company vehicle or allowance (if applicable)
  • Supportive leadership and a team-focused culture
