Get to Know Our Client:
TalentSphere is partnering with an architecture firm with multiple offices looking to add a fully OAA or near fully OAA licensed architect to join their Toronto team. This Revit based firm specializes in private big box retailers, grocers, care dealerships & large-scale private distribution centers (300k+ sqft) projects with multiple stakeholders. They have trusted top-tier private clients based on 50 years of market expertise. This is a great chance to work on projects across Canada with a meritocratic team where your talents will be appreciated.   


What they seek:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field
  • Professional Ontario license required (OAA); 2+ years of experience in architectural project management 
  • Solid Revit; experienced in distribution centers; high-end car dealership or corporate office experience a plus  
  • Technically inclined; experienced on working on complex projects; marking up drawings and providing feedback to architectural interns and technologists to deliver high-quality design solutions that align with client goals, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Someone with client facing experience; ability to build and maintain client relationships, from project inception to completion.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to meet delivery deadlines and financial targets; willingness to be 30% involved in production drawings (hands-on) to ensure successful outcomes  
  • Coordinate closely with internal and external teams, including clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies, to drive project progress.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of architectural drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Have a car; experienced with contract administration duties; open to occasional travel   
  • Represent the firm at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities
  • Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to team and client interactions
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Commitment to design excellence and desire to grow professionally
