An amazing opportunity for an experienced Regional Manager in the retail, building material and construction industry to join a dynamic and growing company in Calgary, Alberta.


Our client has been operating in Ontario for over 50 years and is expanding further into Western Canada with current operations located in Alberta. Their focus is in the construction, building materials and design industries is specific to rental services with equipment for those industries. They have expanded throughout Ontario successfully and with their experience and excellent customer service and are now looking to develop further into the Western Canadian market.  Excellent leadership team with a drive to grow the business and develop further. 


The Regional Manager - Alberta will lead the operations and development of all service locations throughout the region.  This individual will have experience leading teams, developing business strategies for further development, working in collaborative environments and have a drive for success and results. Working within the company's overall strategic vision, the Regional Manager will manage the standards and overall operations for the various Profit Centers located throughout the Province. This will require responsibility for full P&L performance, developing regional markets, working with current clients, building strategic business opportunities and identifying possible mergers and acquisitions available in the market. With a experience developing teams and building businesses, this individual will have success in growing the company further and progressing into the company as the company grows and develops. 

This candidate will have the following aspects;
  • Secondary School Diploma, B. Deg/Diploma Economics, Business Management, Finance,etc. an asset
  • 10+ years' experience in Retail, Building Materials, Construction and/or Operations Management
  • Experience managing budgets, P&L, financial reports and operational costs
  • Excellent communication, leadership and managerial skill set with both local and satellite operations
  • Ability to perform and execute as well as lead a team effectively through strong mentorship practices
  • Excellent knowledge of the construction, building materials and design industries
  • Strong skill set in decision making, problem solving and ability to work in a fast paced environment 
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
