THE ROLE
As a BIM Coordinator, you will be a driving force in enhancing digital design workflows and ensuring seamless integration of BIM tools across projects. You’ll work closely with teams to develop and implement best practices, create advanced templates, standards, and libraries, and refine digital processes that elevate the firm’s efficiency and innovation.
Beyond technical expertise, this role demands a proactive approach to mentoring—guiding team members on BIM tools, ensuring knowledge is effectively shared, and maintaining the firm’s proprietary BIM standards. You will also play a key role in hands-on project work, quality assurance, and problem-solving, ensuring the firm’s digital strategy remains ahead of the curve.
This position offers an exciting career trajectory with the potential to advance into a BIM Lead and, ultimately, a BIM Manager role.
WHAT YOU BRING
- A degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Design Technology, or a related field
- At least 3+ years of experience in a BIM-focused role or as an Architectural Technologist with BIM expertise
- Deep proficiency in Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo, and related tools
- A passion for research, technology, and the future of digital design
- Experience producing working drawing packages, technical documentation, and project coordination
- A keen interest in developing BIM standards, templates, and digital libraries
- Strong analytical skills, technical precision, and an ability to streamline processes
- Exceptional communication skills with a talent for mentoring and guiding teams
- Role is open to candidates relocating from another province
