Talentsphere Staffing Solutions is looking for a Paint Lab Technician for a luxurious brand offering fine construction materials to North American. This role is a Full-Time Permanent role offering job stability and is located in Richmond Hill. They have multiple locations in the Greater Toronto Area here in Ontario, Canada they have been manufacturing high-end building materials for over 50 years and have been placed at the forefront of the North American interior design industry.
Position Summary
The Paint Lab Technician will support staff and exceed customer expectations by providing the highest quality paint matching and development. This position will work closely with production management and finishing teams. The successful candidate possesses strong analysis skills and is able to execute targets in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing and colour matching custom paints
- Preparing paint samples as required
- Documenting new paint colour systems
- Mixing paint samples in preparation for the finishing team
- Preparing touch up kits
- Monitoring paint material inventories and restocking colour matching station and paint materials accordingly
- Other duties as required
- 2+ years in paint colour matching and mixing
- An understanding of colour theory
- Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Construction Projects
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 40lbs
- $70K - $85K - Competitive based on experience
