Summary:

The role of the Project Manager is to fully manage all phases of the project including maintaining client relationships, schedules, budgets, and profitability through project completion.

What You’ll Do:

 
  • Works closely with the design team in the pre-development stages which includes proposals, demonstrations, reviewing the scope of work, providing input on construction techniques and best practices, developing cost-effective projects, and a schedule for completion.
  • Develop and prepare conceptual estimates from design documents and/or narratives.
  • Tracks and manages material take-off prior to construction.
  • Responsible for scheduling subcontractors, managing purchase order deliveries, and verifying quantities.
  • Provides technical leadership, direction, and feedback to the Superintendent to ensure safety, quality control, and scheduling.
  • Coordinates work of subcontractors working on various phases of multiple projects.
  • Oversees the performance of all trade contractors and reviews architectural and engineering drawings to ensure that all specifications and regulations are being followed.
  • Reports back to the design team regarding progress and suggested modifications of plans.
  • Tracks and manages the construction schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of projects.
  • Manages project-related paperwork including but not limited to, pay applications, change orders, purchase orders, RFI’s, Submittals, Transmittals, Specs, Billing, and Receipts.
  • Responsible for the proper administration of construction contracts and obtaining all necessary permits and licenses.
  • Responsible for communicating information with the design team as needed to ensure compliance to design intent and owner satisfaction.
  • Adheres to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations as they relate to the construction environment.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned as this list does not reflect all of the duties and responsibilities of the Project Manager.


What You’ll Need:
 
  • Minimum 10 years of experience.
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management or a related field of study.
  • Must have a strong understanding of scoping, buyout, cost control, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in Prolog and Converge a plus.
  • Strong personal management skills, dedication, organization, and open-mindedness are required.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to work in a close-knit environment.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by supervisors.
