HR Analyst with SAP experience is required to join this dynamic Calgary based organisation.
Working at senior level and supporting both HR and business decision makers at VP and board level, this fast paced role provides data that allows many of the key strategic people decisions to be made.
The Workforce Planning Analyst will use SAP, Excel and other tools to source, analyse and present information to senior decision makers. The successful candidate will be able to listen to direction, translate business needs into actionable data requirements, use tools to obtain and then manipulate data to most effectively analyse required information and then present information back to the business in a clear and articulate manner.
They will take ownership of the ongoing improvement of data collection, manipulation and analysis that improves HR decision making and business strategy formulation.

As a key part of this change, this role will play a significant part in honing decision making processes by way of improved use of qualified information and data.
The business is constantly looking at improving its efficiency.
You should be able to build and use statistical models and have a proven skill set in data analysis. Experience of Workforce Analytics is essential.
The candidate will be responsible for resource and workforce planning that will contribute to strategic business planning. As the subject matter expert in the information provided by data they will ensure data from workforce modelling activities is accurate, available and presented in a format useful to senior decision makers.
Key requirements include
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience of metrics, data management, and business intelligence strategies.
- Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, problem solving ability, and critical thinking skills.
- SAP experience is essential.
- Data Analytics skills including macros, pivots, Excel formulas.
- Technical competence in creating complex reports, dashboards, and visualizing effective metrics.
- Knowledge of workforce modelling and forecasting.
